Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply when you visit clash-win.com, read its documentation, or use its download links. Read them before downloading software, importing configurations, or changing network settings, and consider the laws where you live and the licenses for the software involved.
1. About This Site and These Terms
This site organizes download links, installation steps, and configuration guides for Clash for Windows and related clients. Its content is for educational and technical reference only and does not constitute legal or security advice or a commitment to provide network services. This site is not the developer of the open-source projects listed here. References to project names, interfaces, and settings explain how to use the software and do not imply authorization or endorsement by those projects.
Software information on this site is independent of network access services. Downloading a client does not provide a subscription, proxy nodes, or network service. Listing a third-party link does not endorse its provider's business credentials, pricing, or service quality. Review the applicable terms before using any third-party service.
2. Lawful Use and User Responsibilities
When using this site's content and related software, comply with applicable laws where you live and the policies of your organization, school, and network operator. Do not use the software for unlawful purposes, including unauthorized system access, data theft, distributing illegal content, or disrupting network operations. Technical guidance does not authorize restricted or unlawful activity.
Make sure you have the necessary permission to operate the device, account, and network you use. Do not use this site's links to send malicious requests, disrupt services, or violate others' rights. Subscription URLs and configuration files may contain access credentials. Keep them secure and do not expose them in public posts, screenshots, or shared logs.
3. Software Sources and Configuration Risks
The relevant software is provided by its open-source projects or their distributors. Refer to each project's documentation for supported features, operating systems, and maintenance status. Clash for Windows is no longer maintained; archived installers do not receive ongoing security fixes or compatibility support. Decide whether to install it based on your device and the software's maintenance status.
Enabling a system proxy, TUN, or service mode, or changing DNS settings, may affect other apps and local network connections. Back up your configuration, note your original network settings, and make sure you know how to restore them before making changes. Clients may differ in their core and supported configuration fields, so examples in this documentation may not transfer directly. Test on a recoverable setup before making changes on an important device.
4. Accuracy and Limits of Liability
This site provides information based on currently available materials and does not guarantee that it will always be complete, accurate, or suitable for a particular device. Software interfaces, download URLs, and system permission steps may change. Access may also be interrupted by network issues or changes to third-party services. Tutorials explain procedures but do not guarantee a successful connection or any particular result.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not responsible for the availability of third-party software or services, or for data loss, connection interruptions, or other indirect losses resulting from installation, configuration, or use. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law or limit any rights you have under applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property and Changes to These Terms
Software, source code, names, and logos belong to their respective rights holders. Use, modification, and redistribution of open-source projects are governed by their individual licenses. Organizing download links on this site does not change the original license terms. Before distributing software, review and fulfill any applicable obligations, such as retaining notices, including license texts, or making source code available.
Original text and page layouts created by this site are protected by law. Credit the source when quoting them, and do not misrepresent their content or imply project authorization. These terms may be revised to reflect service changes, updated information, or legal requirements. Revised terms will be published on this page, with the date updated at the top. Review the current terms before using the site again. If you do not agree, stop using the relevant services. For operational questions, see the Quick Start Tutorial and the FAQs in the Platform Guides. Consult a qualified professional for legal advice.
